Travel RRT

Hagerstown, MD

We are seeking an experienced Travel Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to support the Respiratory Care Department at a Medical Center in Hagerstown, Maryland. This is a high-performing acute care environment providing care to adult and critical care patients.

You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team providing ventilator management, airway care, high-flow oxygen therapy, and respiratory interventions for patients across ICU, ER, and general floors.

Shift: Night (4x12 Hours) 18:30 7:00

Responsibilities

  • Perform respiratory assessments and deliver respiratory therapy treatments

  • Manage ventilators, BiPAP/CPAP, high-flow oxygen, and airway support

  • Participate in rapid response and code blue situations

  • Administer nebulizer therapy, bronchodilator therapy, and aerosol treatments

  • Perform ABG draws and interpretation

  • Provide respiratory support in ICU, ER, and inpatient units

  • Maintain accurate documentation and follow facility protocols 


    • Requirements

  • Active RRT credential (NBRC) – required

  • Active Maryland Respiratory Care License (or ability to obtain)

  • BLS required; ACLS preferred

  • 1–2+ years recent acute care experience

  • ICU and/or ER experience strongly preferred

  • Prior travel experience is a plus but not required
