Adept in DoD Acquisition processes and analytical methodologies, this professional excels in gathering, analyzing, and evaluating essential information for program and project success. With extensive expertise in acquisition and operational planning, system architecture, and technical and financial management, they are responsible for overseeing complex projects from inception to completion. They are proficient in addressing configuration management, resource allocation, and quality assurance, ensuring adherence to schedule and technical milestones. Their skill set includes developing and drafting acquisition documentation, liaising with program managers and technical personnel, and providing innovative solutions to enhance project outcomes.
Relevant Experience:
· Expertise in managing acquisition schedules and associated risks, executing repeatable processes for procurement of services, hardware, and software.
· Proficient in acquisition management philosophy, policies, and procedures across program lifecycles.
· In-depth knowledge of FAR, DFARS, DARS, DAG, DoDI 5000 series, NDAA, CMBOK, OMB Circular(s), and DoD FMR.
· Application of regulatory knowledge to support Government in acquisition and procurement activities.
· Assistance in the execution of contracts, task orders, call orders, delivery orders, purchase orders, and Government Purchase Card transactions.
· Analytical support for agency program offices, enhancing acquisition packages with necessary documentation.
· Development of procurement forms, service/product descriptions, cost estimates, market research, and acquisition plans.
· Ensuring compliance with Federal regulations and agency policies through meticulous documentation.
· Provision of strategic acquisition management support, including subject matter briefings and briefing materials preparation.
· Research and data gathering on acquisition-related issues, contributing to informed decision-making.
· Advisory participation in meetings and working groups, offering high-level acquisition insights.
· Executive-level acquisition advisory services, including strategic planning and organizational acquisition function assessments.
· Acquisition analysis support, aiding in the development of organizational effectiveness and procurement-related internal controls assessments.
